International Summer School "Alpine Forests are Rock Stars!"

LOCATION: Cesana Torinese (Italy)
DATE: 22 - 27 July 2019
PROGRAM: In one of the most scenic areas of the Western Alps, the participants will have some hands-on training on the assessment and management of protection forests against rockfall.
Seminars will deal with:
- Ecology and management of protection forests against rockfall
- Traditional and innovative field survey techniques
- Risk mapping and computer modelling
- Evaluation of costs and benefits
COSTS: All the costs (lodging, meals) are covered by the project (no fees).
