The Study Center for the Alpine Environment is managed by the Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture, and Forestry (TESAF) of the University of Padua. It conducts teaching and research activities related to the alpine environment, its climatic and environmental vulnerability, and its socio-economic development. The Center has permanent technical staff who manage the facility and provide technical and logistical support for the research and teaching activities carried out in its laboratories and experimental sites.
The Center also has a conference room (49 seats) and a computer lab (10 workstations), and it is connected to the Eduroam network. It can host small workshops and summer/winter schools.
Accommodation with a kitchen can be used for research and teaching activities by TESAF Department staff, other University of Padua staff, and national and international research/teaching collaborators.
