Brief description: IM.VI.BIO.R is aimed at assessing a plurality of aspects arising from the adoption of low-impact viticultural practices, specifically the use of PIWI resistant vines. The project aims to conduct a quali-quantitative analysis of the ecosystem services produced by the use of such. This objective will be pursued with a study on the internalization of the aforementioned ecosystem services in the final product, assessing the consumer's WTP (Willingness to Pay) with methodologies based on stated preferences, to which will be associated an analysis of the sensory characteristics of the product. The innovative approach of the project is developed through the study of the impact of ecosystem services applied to resistant vines, both in terms of the price of the final product and in terms of community welfare. The project involves the analysis of issues related to the spread of PIWI vines at both the supply and demand levels. Outputs of the project will be a set of tools that can have a positive impact in Veneto viticulture to be used in entrepreneurship in terms of labelling, communication and marketing, as well as the choice, by the agricultural enterprise, to adopt resistant vine varieties, with a view to spreading good agronomic practice. The project is intended to be a pilot study for future studies related to the dissemination and promotion of resistant vine varieties, including at the national level.
