Brief description: The problems that are addressed with the E-GLOCAL-DAIRY project concern the poor integration of the actors in the Veneto dairy chain and the poor focus on innovative dairy products. These problems, coupled with a gradual decline in consumption (especially milk fluid), and a growing price competition for imported products, generate unsatisfactory economic results.
The innovative solution adopted is to foster a synergistic process between the main production, transformation and marketing of the Veneto dairy sector through the implementation of investments in dairies, promoting the transfer of scientific knowledge, the adoption of technical and organizational innovations, while at the same time promoting the development of new products in line with emerging consumer and community demand.
The GO is composed of the most important cooperatives of dairy processing, marketing and promotion in Veneto, with the University of Padova providing scientific support, while training is guaranteed by Coldiretti Veneto and Impresa Verde Verona. ARAV participates as a support partner by providing the data in their possession and will ensure a synergistic collaboration with the activities and results of the STALLA 4.0 project.
